Rosa Parks
Rosa Parks became a defining figure of the modern Civil Rights Movement when she refused to surrender her bus seat in Montgomery, Alabama, on December 1, 1955. Her arrest helped spark the Montgomery Bus Boycott and brought national attention to the fight against segregated public transportation. Parks was also a longtime organizer, NAACP member, and advocate whose courage was rooted in years of community work. Honor her enduring example with a cool Rosa Parks shirt from our officially licensed collection.
