Weird Science follows two socially awkward computer whizzes who use a homemade experiment to create Lisa, a larger-than-life guide through the chaos of teenage life. John Hughes’ 1985 comedy mixes sci-fi fantasy, outrageous set pieces, and a synth-rock soundtrack into an unmistakable snapshot of ’80s teen cinema. Beneath the wild humor is a story about confidence, friendship, and learning that growing up cannot be hacked.
